Taxis

Las Vegas taxis can be taken from designated taxi stands found at resorts, shopping centers, and attractions. You can also call for a pickup anytime.

Available taxis have the center light atop their roof on. Lights off mean the taxi is occupied. Taxis also have an 'off duty' light atop the car.

Metered Rate of Fare*

$3.50 upon entry
$0.23 per 1/12 mile or every 25 seconds if moving less than 8-12 MPH
$2.40 Fee for McCarran property (airport) pickup
     3% Excise tax will be added to all rates and fees

Different variables such as heavy traffic and tolls should be taken into account in gauging the final cost of your trip.
NOTE: Effective December 20, 2019 all direct taxi trips from McCarran International Airport to/from the locations listed here are charged at a fixed rate.
A cab ride between McCarran International Airport and the Las Vegas Convention Center or a hotel can cost anywhere from $20-$30.

Vegas Loop

AT THE LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER

Use the Vegas Loop at the Las Vegas Convention Center free of charge for fast and convenient transportation across the 200-acre LVCC campus. The system consists of two one-way, 0.8-mile-long tunnels built to accommodate all-electric Tesla vehicles driving at speeds of up to 35 mph. Typical walk time between West Hall and North & Central Halls can take up to 25 minutes. The same trip on LVCC Loop takes approximately 2 minutes.

Las Vegas Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail provides a quick and reliable transportation alternative for travelers on the Las Vegas Strip. Directly connected to several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Monorail is the easiest, fastest, and most convenient way to get from one end of the Strip to the other in just minutes.
